Despite being a quintessential moment of any high school student's life, prom has unfortunately held sorrow and isolation for many LGBTQ+ identified individuals (and some states still have racially segregated school dances, so keep that in mind). High school is by no means the "best time of one's life," yet prom is supposed to be one of the more intimate and joyful parts. All in all, it wouldn't matter so much, but this dance is still denied to many LGBTQ+ persons and couples. It is the absence of this moment that is so bitter. Here, I give people the chance to recreate said moment as they see fit, a small, but necessary justice on the affairs of love and happiness.
